Belfast, NI
We caught the train from Carrickfergus in to Belfast today and spent the day looking around.
We did try and go to the Titanic display but would have had to pay a fortune and wait a couple of hours. So we looked in the shop and admired the building from the outside.
We had lunch in this great old pub. It had wonderful windows and old gas lamps.
We were quite suprised it had survived so well as it is directly across the road from what was the most bombed hotel in the UK.
This hotel had the sad status of being the most bombed hotel in the UK. |
